Wat srinagarin
The project involved redesigning the existing website for a Thai Buddhist community in Solothurn Switzerland. The goal was to improve the usability, enhance the visual appeal, and ensure the site better serves its members and visitors. This project was undertaken as part of a school assignment with a total of 120 hours dedicated to its completion. Here’s a link to my documentation, which I worked on during these 120 hours. It details every step of the process. View Documentation
Research and analyses
It all startet with research and analysis. I conducted surveys and interviews with community members to understand their needs, preferences, and the limitations of the existing website.
Photograpy
I noticed that the current website almost didn't show any pictures of the structure, which was disappointing since the architecture is so unique. It was important to me to showcase the structure and the architecture to show new people how amazing this temple is. So, I captured new photographs of the temple, highlighting its traditional Thai architecture.
Which where then used to showcase in the Website.
Styleguide
I created a comprehensive style guide that included color schemes, typography, and design elements reflecting the community's cultural heritage and spiritual values. Then developed wireframes to outline the new website layout and structure, focusing on improving navigation and user experience.
